The mission of the Ascension Escuminac Volunteer Action Centre is to promote volunteer action in the different sectors of human activity and to generate a response to community needs.

Philosophy of action

At the Volunteer Action Centre, the volunteer is the real project manager.

Its strength, linked to other volunteers, makes the Centre a force for humanizing and improving the quality of life or well-being of the population.

For the Centre, volunteering is an instrument of personal and social development, and a significant resource for the population in need of material and human assistance.

An invaluable social reality, voluntary action is recognized, encouraged, and valued by the Centre.

The values conveyed by the Centre are justice, sharing, appreciation, mutual aid, dignity and solidarity.

We serve eight municipalities in the MRC Avignon, western sector, as well as the indigenous reserve in our sector.
