The mission of the Ascension-Escuminac Volunteer Action Center is to promote
voluntary action in the different sectors of human activity and to generate a response to
community needs.

The eight municipalities served affecting the MRC Avignon, western sector, are:

  • Saint-François-d’Assise
  • Saint-Alexis-de-Matapédia
  • Matapédia
  • Saint-André-de-Restigouche
  • Ristigouche Sud-Est
